Kajang, Malaysia, 30 July 2026 – The New Car Assessment Program for Southeast Asian Countries (ASEAN NCAP) has released the ATB001: ASEAN Motorcycle Target (AMT) Specification Version 1.1, updating the previously released Version 1.0.
The latest version introduces an amendment to Section 4: AMT Manufacturer, which provides the list of companies that have successfully established manufacturing capabilities for the ASEAN Motorcycle Target (AMT) in accordance with the specified key performance features.
The AMT manufacturers currently listed in the specification are:
- 4activeSystems GmbH, Austria
- China Automotive Engineering Research Institute Co., Ltd. (CAERI), China
The list of AMT manufacturers is subject to revision should further relevant information becomes available.
