This workshop was held following the recent\u00a0one held at UTAC in France last July. All of the OASIM\u2019s partners convened at the workshop which was held at the airstrip located in Bandar Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The aim of the Overall ASEAN market Safety Improvement for Motorcycles (OASIM) project is to improve the safety of motorized two-wheeler in Southeast Asia (ASEAN) through driving aids. Earlier, the project had identified various accident-prone situations during the first workshop. Thus, in order to reproduce them, test means are developed within the framework of the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this workshop, the partners presence also exchanged on the proposal for the upcoming ASEAN NCAP evaluation protocol around the test scenarios reproduced on the track using the test means. The project also kicked start the OASIM\u2019s Work Package 4 (WP4), which is to establish the synthesis of the project and subsequently provides an opportunity to review the main results of the last two years of work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Plans have already been made for the OASIM\u2019s 12 industrial partners to meet at MIROS\u2019s upcoming new track, MIROS Technology Test Track (MT3) in early 2023.
