15 February 2022, Kajang, Malaysia<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 Today, the New Car Assessment Program for Southeast Asian Countries (ASEAN NCAP) organized its kick-off 2022 meeting with vehicle manufacturers and also the fourth\u00a0series of the ASEAN NCAP Collaborative Holistic Research Project (ANCHOR IV).<\/p>\n

Dato\u2019 Dr. Khairil Anwar Abu Kassim, Secretary General of ASEAN NCAP, who is also MIROS Director General gave his welcoming remark to the audience. The meeting was followed by presentation by Mr. Yahaya Ahmad, Technical Leader of ASEAN NCAP, which consists of items for ASEAN NCAP upcoming protocol for 2026-2030. In the second presentation, Mr. Mohd Hafiz Johari, Coordinator for CVAP shared ASEAN NCAP\u2019s new initiative on Asian Commercial Vehicle Assessment Program or CVAP. The meeting that was organized online received over 100 participants. ASEAN NCAP welcomes questions on the upcoming protocol and the CVAP initiative as well as participation in the ANCHOR IV project.<\/p>\n
