Kajang, Malaysia, 15 January 2021<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 The ASEAN NCAP Grand Prix Awards is a biannual event that the New Car Assessment Programme for Southeast Asian Countries (ASEAN NCAP) organizes with the aim at commemorating high achievers in car safety in the ASEAN region. The event was first held in 2014 in Kuching, Sarawak, the second was in 2016 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and the third was held in Karawang, Indonesia in 2018. The 4th<\/sup> ASEAN NCAP Grand Prix Awards was initially planned in 2020 but due to COVID-19 pandemic we had to postpone it to 2021. Thus, ASEAN NCAP will be organizing its fourth Grand Prix virtually on 16th<\/sup> February 2021 (Tuesday)<\/strong>. The link to the virtual event will be announced closer to the event date.<\/p>\n

To eligible for the award, ASEAN NCAP is calling all vehicle manufacturers to submit nominations of their respective models. Please download the application form<\/a> on the categories for the award nominations. Manufacturers are required to submit the application form to Mr. Yahaya Ahmad at yahaya@miros.gov.my<\/a>.
