Kajang, 31 May 2017<\/strong><\/em> –\u00a0In view of the new assessment protocol for 2017-2020, The New Car Assessment Program for Southeast Asian Countries (ASEAN NCAP) has revamped two key forms for the new result rating. The first form is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) form for vehicle manufacturers to fill out necessary information regarding the models that will be tested. The information from the form will provide pertinent information to ASEAN NCAP on the safety items installed in the car model. The second form is the assessment spreadsheet for the actual crash test and technologies installation. The spreadsheet acts as a calculation form on the test procedures based on the three main domains for assessment that are Adult Occupant Protection, Child Occupant Protection and Safety Assist Technologies.
