Bangkok, Thailand<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 The New Car Assessment Program for Southeast Asian Countries (ASEAN NCAP) recently held its seventh edition of Vehicle Safety Course (VSC 2024\/007) at The Thai-German Graduate School of Engineering Building, King Mongkut\u2019s University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB), Thailand.

The objectives of the events are to promote and publicise vehicle safety information to the public in Thailand. Furthermore, participation in the VSC will greatly help the participants in acquiring the necessary information regarding vehicle safety and sharing the knowledge with their respective contacts on the importance of selecting vehicles with safety ratings.

The event began with an opening remark from Ts. Yahaya Ahmad, Technical Leader for ASEAN NCAP and followed by a welcoming remark by Prof. Dr. Somrerk Chandraambhorn, Vice President for Research and Information Technology Department, KMUTNB.

There were a total of eight presentations from various organizations and vehicle manufacturers who presented at this ASEAN NCAP\u2019s VSC namely the Ministry of Public Health Thailand, Towards Zero Foundation, Mitsubishi, Toyota, Autoliv, Nissan and Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association. Nevertheless, we are not able to share all the presentations due to policy of some of the organizations.
