Kajang, Malaysia, 5 December 2023<\/em><\/strong> – The New Car Assessment Program for Southeast Asian Countries (ASEAN NCAP) is proud to announce that we are one of the recipients of the Asia Automotive Award (AAA) 2023 organized by Motonation. The award presentation ceremony was held on 19 November 2023 at the IOI Grand Exhibition and Convention Centre, Kuala Lumpur.

ASEAN NCAP was awarded two award categories at the AAA 2023 that are Automotive R&D Excellence Award<\/strong> and Automotive Safety Excellence Award<\/strong>. The Automotive R&D Excellence Award honored outstanding achievements in automotive research and development, recognized breakthrough innovations and advancements that have shaped the future of the industry. As for the Automotive Safety Excellence Award, the award celebrated companies that demonstrated an unwavering commitment to automotive safety, pioneered technologies and initiatives that prioritize the well-being of drivers, passengers, and pedestrians. ASEAN NCAP is pleased to share that we were the sole recipient of this category.

ASEAN NCAP wishes to extend our heartfelt appreciation to those who have continued to support our work in promoting and encouraging for the best safety technologies that are currently available in the market to be equipped in majority of the vehicles sold in the ASEAN market. We will indeed continue our work throughout the ASEAN region in our strive to achieve the targets set under the Sustainable Development Goals and Decade of Action for Road Safety 2021-2030.
