ASEAN NCAP New and Updated Protocols and Guidelines

Kajang, 9 November 2015 – During ASEAN Automobile Safety Forum 2015/003 held in Bandung last September 2015, ASEAN NCAP has finalised the updates of its current protocols and new guidelines as follows. These updates can be retrieved from the Download page.

ASEAN NCAP Frontal Impact Testing Protocol

  • Version 1.0 – Until September 2013
  • Version 1.1 – From October 2013

 ASEAN NCAP Vehicle Selection Protocol

  • Version 1.0 – From January 2013

 ASEAN NCAP Assessment Protocol and Biomechanical Limit

  • Version 1.0 – Until August 2013
  • Version 2.0 – Until December 2014
  • Version 2.1 – From January 2015

ASEAN NCAP Guideline for Crash Laboratory Selection

  • Version 1.0 – From September 2013

ASEAN NCAP Guideline for Rating Plate

  • Version 1.0 – From January 2014
