In Person with ASEAN NCAP

The New Car Assessment Program for Southeast Asian Countries (ASEAN NCAP) was established in December 2011 upon the signing of Memorandum of Understanding during the FIA Foundation Annual General in New Delhi, India. Since then the ASEAN NCAP team has never looked back and keep on progressing to promote vehicle safety in Southeast Asian countries. This is proven from 43 ratings results already released since Phase 1 until August 2015.

What is ASEAN NCAP’s strength in which able to make them continue to develop and successful until today? We believe LEADERSHIP is the key word.

Malaysian Institute of Road Safety Research or MIROS plays a major role in developing these leaders and subsequently source them to ASEAN NCAP. From the first Director-General of MIROS until the present one, the 360-degree leadership has proven to bring success to the mission of elevating vehicle safety in the region.

The video interview, IN PERSON WITH ASEAN NCAP, was conducted with the key persons of ASEAN NCAP. They share their stories, views and passion in this 23-minute video.

Don’t forget to meet them in Bandung, Indonesia at our ASEAN Automobile Safety Forum (20–22 September 2015) for more passionate talks and dreams with the vehicle safety fighters.
