Kajang, 2 February 2019 – Following the success of the first Vehicle Safety Course (VSC) that was held in Karawang, Indonesia last November, the New Car Assessment Program for Southeast Asian Countries (ASEAN NCAP) will be organizing a similar course for the second time. This time ASEAN NCAP will be organizing the course in Hanoi, Vietnam with the collaboration of the Vietnam National Traffic Safety Committee, Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) and Global Road Safety Partnership (GRSP), Vietnam Office.
With the same objectives, the second VSC is aimed to share information on the vehicle safety features that are available in the current market especially to the media industry, government related agencies and non-governmental organizations related to road safety in Vietnam. Furthermore, its objective is to demonstrate to the participants the benefits and functionalities of such technologies of how it will be able to prevent an accident from happening or mitigate any serious injuries.
